Requirements

JM is for Unix and requires GTK/GLIB 1.2, GNet 1.1, and some other libraries. Gnome support for Gnome 1.0 and 1.2 is available and using it is strongly recommended (it has more features). See the README and the FAQ for more information.

Jungle Monkey is beta software. It is fairly stable and usable, but may still have lingering bugs. Development will continue in the 0.1 series that may break backward compatabilty with older Jungle Monkey clients.

JM for Windows

Jungle Monkey is for Unix only. We are looking into a Windows port. One of our developers is working on porting GNet, the network library, to Windows. This would be the first step towards a JM port. We have no idea when it would be done.

Jungle Monkey is released under the GNU General Public License. This means it's free, you can share it with your friends, but it's not our fault if it breaks your computer. See COPYING for more information.
